Hi, I’m Ananda! 

I’m a psychologist under supervision and a future psychotherapist in Positive Psychotherapy, based in Transylvania, Romania.

Unlike the classic Transylvanian stereotype, I don’t deal with vampires (except maybe the emotional kind) and for those, therapy works much better than garlic. 

I earned my B.S. in Psychology from Stetson University in the U.S., then returned home to get accredited as a psychotherapist. My long-term goal is to work with underserved communities and, hopefully, bring Positive Psychotherapy to the U.S., where there’s no official center yet.

By day, I help others become registered psychotherapists in Canada as an Administrative Assistant with True Self Counseling. Outside of that, I run my own content writing business, teach yoga, bake, and fly glider planes (because balancing grounding practices with taking off into the sky seems to fit). I’ve traveled extensively and love exchanging stories, so if you ever need insights on both mental health and the best places to visit, I’m happy to share.

I believe therapy should be practical, culturally aware, and genuinely supportive. Growth happens in many ways, sometimes on solid ground, sometimes in unexpected places. If you need anything, whether it’s something administrative or just a coffee chat, reach out!
