re you a young adult, aged 18-35, struggling with anxiety, depression, or an eating disorder? Do you feel overwhelmed by persistent sadness, worry, or self-doubt impacting your daily life? Maybe you’re also navigating cultural transitions, facing discrimination, or reconciling conflicting cultural identities, and dealing with gender identity or sexual orientation issues. Despite trying various self-help methods, nothing seems to work for long, and you’re eager to make a lasting change.
Having faced anxiety, depression, and an eating disorder, I deeply understand these challenges. As a person of colour and daughter of first-generation Canadian immigrants, I’m aware of cultural and discrimination complexities. I’m committed to inclusive mental health care and culturally sensitive practices for all.
My approach combines compassion, authenticity, and empathy with client-centered and humanistic principles, plus evidence-based methods like CBT and strength-based therapy. We’ll work together to create a supportive, tailored experience focused on your growth and well-being. If you’re ready for meaningful change, email me for a free 15-minute consultation!
I have personal experience in mental health, having been diagnosed with mental health conditions in my youth and learning to overcome these obstacles, and I am here to guide you on your path to wellness while taking control of these issues. I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and have a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Toronto. I have spent many years learning to overcome my anxiety and depression, as well as my issues with abandonment, trauma, and emotion dysregulation. Through putting in the work and time, I have come to a place in my life where I am now eager and passionate to help others with a variety of struggles I have healed from, such as depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, infertility, eating disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and relationship/family issues.
I will help you learn to identify your thoughts surrounding core beliefs and why you cannot break free from some of your behavioural patterns. I will guide you through techniques for easing your anxiety as well as help you identify your attachment style and recognize why some of your relationships and friendships are leaving you feeling alone and misunderstood, or why you are clashing with others to the point of frustration. Through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy among other therapies, I believe I can help you find balance in your life again and bring a level of peace to your life that you have been desiring.
