Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Master's Level Intern
Kaitlyn Bain
Fee: $65-$95
You’re someone who sets impossibly high expectations for yourself and carries the weight of those expectations quietly, even when it feels heavy. Maybe you identify as a perfectionist whose self-worth is tangled up in achievement, or an overachieving empath who cares deeply but ends up emotionally drained. You might struggle with body image or a complicated relationship with food, feeling stuck in patterns you logically want to change but emotionally feel pulled back into. Saying “no” feels uncomfortable, setting boundaries feels risky, and anxiety often shows up in the background—tight chest, racing thoughts, the sense that you should be doing more.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to continue navigating it by yourself.
I’m someone who understands how overwhelming these internal pressures can feel, and I’m passionate about helping people untangle the narratives that keep them stuck. What drew me to this work is the way our stories—about our bodies, our worth, our roles, our responsibilities—shape how we move through the world. I believe those stories can be rewritten in ways that feel empowering, compassionate, and grounded.
I’m the best fit for clients who want both insight and action. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that have been running your life, while also building practical tools so you can show up differently in your day-to-day moments.
My philosophy is grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t come from striving to become a “better” version of yourself—it comes from recognizing that you are already worthy, already enough, and already capable. You don’t need to earn rest, peace, or compassion. You deserve it simply because you exist.
In our work together, you’ll find a supportive space where you can slow down, explore the parts of yourself you’ve had to keep hidden, challenge the pressures that exhaust you, and learn to respond to yourself with the same empathy you extend to others. You’ll develop tools to quiet the inner critic, soften rigid patterns, reconnect with your values, and build a life that feels aligned—not just accomplished.
If you’re ready to let go of perfectionism’s tight grip, ease the anxiety that follows you through your days, and step into a relationship with yourself that feels calmer, kinder, and more authentic, I’d love to connect.
