Life can feel like a never ending cycle of to-do lists, challenges, changes, and obstacles accompanied by feelings of pressure, anxiety, stress, exhaustion, fear, guilt, grief, and more. You may have begun to notice you’ve felt lost, irritable, overwhelmed, unmotivated, and or alone when these cycles persist. Daily life becomes difficult to navigate and you begin to feel like there is no way out. But, you do not have to face these cycles alone. My goal is to walk beside you and empower you, as you move through, adjust, and even change these cycles.

As humans we are creatures of habit and on occasion these habits manifest as negative patterns, we might not always be aware of. Some examples of negative patterns include, negative self-talk, unhelpful thinking styles, self-destructive behaviours, overthinking, and procrastination. I myself have been caught in negative patterns of behaviours, thoughts, and emotions throughout life, causing myself additional distress on top of the already demanding cycles of life. I understand how defeating life can begin to feel when trapped in these negative patterns. 

My approach encompasses emphasizing your strengths, focusing on the present, enhancing your self-compassion, challenging your thoughts, increasing acceptance, enhancing psychological flexibility, and self-awareness. I hope to help you reduce feelings of distress, foster mental wellness, and become more confident, prepared, and motivated to regain stability throughout the cycles of life. More specifically, this transpires by working collaboratively with you, utilizing specific evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gestalt Therapy. 

My goal is to make you feel safe, validated, accepted, heard, while nurturing your strengths and abilities to help you reduce negative patterns in your life. Ultimately allowing you to experience a more positive, focused, stable, happier, flexible, and intentional life.
