Have you been through something challenging? Are you wildly self-aware of what it is and maybe even how it makes you feel but have no idea how to fix it? Do you notice changes in your relationships with others? Are you more withdrawn than usual or are you getting attached too quickly? You’ve tried journaling, reading up on trauma and maybe you’ve even tried therapy – but nothing has worked. Maybe your challenging event was days, weeks or even years ago but you just can’t shake it. Trauma and traumatic events can have long lasting impacts on our energy, motivation, personality and on our relationships. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’ve been in therapy before, we can work together to find a healthy way to process your trauma. I am highly self-aware but could not process my own trauma alone. Having been to therapy myself, I have been the client on the other side with a challenging past. I truly understand the frustration of being able to pinpoint the problem but not being able to solve it. 

My specialities include trauma and big emotions, life changes, stress and anxiety. I wholeheartedly believe that no one therapeutic modality will work for every client. With a person centered and trauma informed lens, I believe in tailoring the modality or combining approaches based on client needs. I strongly believe in following the client’s lead by being patient, empathetic and non-judgemental. I am here to guide and support you, not tell you what to do!
